Yingzhong Li did his dissertation at National Institute of Biological Sciences, Beijing, China, and earned his Ph.D. from Peking University, China, in July 2010.
He studied the molecular mechanism underlying plant disease resistance when he was a Ph.D. candidate. He joined Prof. Jianzhu Chen’s lab in March 2011 and studied the molecular basis of memory CD8 T cell development. Currently, his research focuses on the functional analysis of potential surface makers on alveolar macrophage. He also involved in drug screening on macrophage and investigating on gene function of key transcriptional factors in alveolar macrophage.
